Membership Committees
IAAAA membership maintains five standing committees to address, educate, advise and make recommendations to the IAAAA Board regarding specific areas of AAA management, and to complete special projects assigned from the IAAAA Board.
The five committees are:
- Aging and Disability Resources Center (ADRC) Committee
- Fiscal Management Committee
- Healthy Aging and Nutrition Committee
- Information Management Committee
- Quality Assurance Committee
The Fiscal and Healthy Aging and Nutrition Committees have a regular meeting calendar. Other committees meet on an ad-hoc basis.
For the purposes of the Information Management Committee, information technology (IT) is defined to include: hardware (computers, printers, scanners, network switches, etc.), software (state provided case management and reporting systems, word processing, spreadsheet, website development applications, etc.), and the collection, storage, retrieval and reporting of information/data.
Governance Committees
The IAAAA Board has also established standing governance committees to assist in the administration of the IAAAA Trade Association and the IAAAA Education Institute. Standing committees include:
- Executive Committee
- Finance/Audit Committee
- Nominating Committee
- Personnel Committee
- Public Policy Committee
The Executive Committee has a regular meeting calendar. Other committees meet on an ad-hoc basis.
The IAAAA Board also establishes ad hoc committees to address special projects such as by-laws revision, strategic planning, membership services, marketing, etc.
